EMCC is accepting applications for its next class of Associate Degree Nursing students. The deadline to apply is Oct. 1, and classes begin in January. Graduates of the program receive the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree, which meets the educational requirement needed to apply for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing licensure examination for registered nurses. MIGHTY LION BAND CAMP
Where did the summer go? The fall semester begins Aug. 18. Students are registering for classes and buying books. On the Scooba campus, EMCC band director Stephen Stringer is taking the Mighty Lion Band through its paces this week as they prepare for the 2010-11 season. The band has grown so quickly in one year, more than doubling in size, that Stringer had to relocate across campus to a larger space in Aust Hall. Roar! n More: Photo gallery, band camp |

FALL CONVOCATION
EMCC faculty, staff and administrators gathered earlier this week for “Convocation” – a beginning of the year meeting during which we take stock of the present and plan for the future.
