EMCC hosts Legislative Appreciation Dinner Print E-mail

MissCapitolTHANKING OUR LEGISLATORS

EMCC trustees, faculty, staff and students hosted the Legislative Appreciation Dinner Nov. 19 at the Golden Triangle campus. An annual tradition, the event is an opportunity for the college to show its appreciation for the hard work of legislators from EMCC’s six-county district – made up of Lowndes, Clay, Oktibbeha, Noxubee, Kemper and Lauderdale. “We’re not going to ask you for anything tonight. We know you have difficult decisions coming up
in the near future,” EMCC President Dr. Rick Young told legislative attendees. “We just wanted to share a meal
and say thank-you.”
